ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS
Our furnishings are made from #3 common pine which has knots and some bark showing, scrap wood and old barn siding. They are made to look aged and primitive. There will be rough and uneven surfaces, cracks, splinters, nail and worm holes just to name a few, but this just adds to the rustic look of the piece. Please do not confuse these with Amish built oak furniture. We make all sorts of wooden items. Hutches, benches, tables, totes and a few birdhouses. We make many items for craft and floral shops and home garden centers and for primitive country homes. Please look over the many samples we have listed on this blog. We can be reached at wbzack@atlanticbb.net.
About our finishes
Unfinished is wood that is left natural for you to finish. No sanding is done and the staple holes are not filled in. Painted: All staple holes are filled and a light sanding is done. Each piece is then painted before assembly. Antiquing: All staple holes are filled then sanded, then painted, sanded again around the edges then a Bees Wax stain is applied then hand rubbed.
